Solid oak wood products have slight texture and color changes. It is difficult for us to guarantee that the products you receive are exactly the same as those shown in the pictures. A few products will inevitably have slight tree knots on them, which do not affect internal structure and use.
The oak floor register will keep flat with your flooring after installation, it fits for 3/4 inch thickness hardwood flooring with tongue and groove structure, if you want it to match your flooring of different thickness, just sand the outer frame by yourself to a matching thickness, that will be ok.
Highly recommended the oak floor register is installed in the meanwhile of your flooring installation. Please ask a skillful carpenter to help you if you install this floor register onto your current floor opening.
