Required for toilets with flat sides, “skirted” bowls or concealed trapways, without access to wing nuts on the underside of the bowl (see photo example). NOTE: Most toilets allow use of “bottom mount” hardware which is included with most seats.

IMPORTANT: For industry standard mounting holes, 5/8 inch (14mm) in diameter. NOT COMPATIBLE with KOHLER toilets having 3/8 inch mounting holes, which require Kohler’s proprietary anchor nuts (K-85040), usually pre-installed at the factory.

After removing the existing seat, if the nuts are in good condition (not loose or corroded), simply re-use them with the screws included with all Bath Royale toilet seats.
